Hayes, of Brockton, February 18, 2005, Grace L. Hayes, 83 years. Sister of Madelyn Venti and Edward Hayes both of Brockton and Beverly MacTighe of Halifax.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Tuesday 2-6pm.

Obituary Information

Grace L. Hayes died Friday at the Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin H. and Evelyn M. (Harris) Hayes. She was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1937 and during World War II she toured with the USO as a professional dancer. She had been employed by Alden Products in Brockton for many years. Grace enjoyed traveling, knitting and crocheting.

She is survived by two sisters Madelyn Venti of Brockton and Beverly MacTighe of Halifax, one brother Edward Hayes of Brockton and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Marie Vasil, Bernice Roberts and Robert Hayes.
