Roy, of Brockton, March 4, 2002, Grace (McMorrow) Roy, 77 years. Mother of Nancy K. Roy and Stephen J. Roy. Grandmother of Christopher F. Cucchiara, Simone R. Roy and Evette J. Roy. Sister of Dorothy L. McMorrow.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8pm.

Obituary Information

Mrs. Roy died Monday at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, after a brief illness. Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Blanche E. (Ward) McMorrow. She had been a lifelong resident of Brockton and attended Brockton schools. She had been employed as both a waitress and hostess at Leonard’s Restaurant for many years. She was also employed as an Executive Assistant at Park Medical Laboratory until her retirement.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy K. Roy and son Stephen J. Roy. 3 grandchildren, Christopher F. Cucchiara, Simone R. Roy and Evette J. Roy, and a sister Dorothy L. McMorrow. Many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rosamond Kane, Viola Olson, John McMorrow, Jr. and Clifford McMorrow.
