Obituary

Gregory J. “Greg” O’Connor died Sunday October 12, 2014 at the Tower Hill Center for Health & Rehab in Canton after a period of failing health. He was born in Brockton a son of the late Edward J. and Agnes (McNeill) O’Connor and remained a lifelong resident of the city.
A 1964 graduate of Brockton High School, Greg had worked as a custodian for the Brockton School Department for many years. He enjoyed Boston sports especially the Patriots. Greg was most proud of his children and their accomplishments.
Greg was the father of Derek O’Connor and his wife Lisa of Braintree and Wendi O’Connor of Bridgewater. He leaves five grandchildren Evan, Aaron, Ava, Austin and Owen. Greg was the brother of Phyllis Jezard and her husband Jack of E. Bridgewater, Edward O’Connor and his wife Mary of Mashpee, Kevin O’Connor of Santa Monica, CA and the late Daniel Eugene O’Connor and Bryan O’Connor. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday 4-7 pm. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Please consider donations in Greg’s name to PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) Foundation, PO Box 871847, Kansas City, MO 64187-1847.
