Gregory Mark Poudrier, 62, of Bridgewater passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a sudden illness.
Born in Brockton on November 27, 1959, he was the son of Ronald and Carol Poudrier. A 1978 graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School, he then graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
He was an engineer and worked for companies supplying commercial doors, frames and hardware for many years.
Greg was a good-natured brother and friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand. When traveling, he enjoyed playing card games when the opportunity arose on cruises or at a casino. His love for Italian food often led him to his favorite dining destinations on Federal Hill. He was an outdoors enthusiast over the years and enjoyed scuba diving, boating, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, and bird hunting with his family and friends.
Greg is survived by his parents Ronald and Carol Poudrier; his brothers and their spouses, Paul Poudrier and Deanna Johnsson-Poudrier, and Geoffrey Poudrier and Judith Poudrier; his niece and nephews Liam Poudrier, Olivia Poudrier, Alexander Poudrier and Andrew Poudrier; his uncle Charles Chisholm and special friends David Conrad and Nancy Bissen.
A memorial gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 S. Main St., West Bridgewater on Friday, June 3rd from 2:30-4:30 PM.
