Online Obituaries Guido A. DAlessio, 83, of Brockton, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Guardian Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. Born March 13, 1930 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Guido DAlessio and Irena (Tulini) DAlessio. A lifelong Brockton resident, he graduated from Brockton High School in 1949 and then Curry College. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Air Force achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. Guido was a School Teacher who taught French at Whitman-Hanson High School for over 20 years. He loved to play golf, make his own golf clubs and repair them as well. He was also an avid gardener and woodworker. He is survived by his sister, Dolores DAlessio of Brockton; his brothers, Agostino DAlessio of Brockton and Luigi DAlessio and his wife Carol of Taunton; his nephew, Dale DAlessio of Raynham; his great-nephews, Stephen DAlessio of Raynham and Daniel DAlessio of Middleboro. Funeral Information Callling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, March 4th from 10:00AM-12:00PM followed by a funeral service at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
