(Fontes) Fontes. Born January 24, 1917 in Fogo, Cape Verde, he was a son of the late Manuel A. Fontes and Balbina (Alves) Fontes. Guilherme worked for Boston Whaler Company. He is survived by his children, Eugenio Alves Fontes, Eugenia Alves Fontes, Joao Alves Fontes, Francisco A. Fontes and Maria Augusta Alves Fontes; his grandchildren, Lucy Depina, John Depina, Maria Depina, Michael Fontes, Ana Fontes, Frank Fontes, Joana Fontes-Coli, Vital Jr. Silveira, Jaime Silveira, Sandra Dee Fontes, John Fontes and Maria Fontes Macoia; 14 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. He is also survived by his brother, Domingos Fontes. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, December 24th at 8:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/ St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 9:00AM.
