Born May 15, 1930 in Fogo, Cape Verde, he was the son of the late Tadeu and Carolina De Pina (Araujo) Monteiro. Guilherme was a very hard working honest man. He provided for his family and helped many people in Cape Verde. Guilherme instilled a great amount of values and a strong work ethic in his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Lourenco, Laurenca, Lucindo, Mario, Santinho, Pretcha, Tuntuna, Valdovindo, Dida, Nona, Nina, Terezinha, Julinho, Isabel, Nana, Tete, Nelson, and the late Djoni; siblings, Tchi Tchi of Portugal, and Jose of Cape Verde; 91 Grandchildren; 69 Great Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.
