Guilherme Rodrigues Jose Monteiro,92, of Brockton passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019, at his home surrounded by his large loving family. He was the husband of the late Anastacia Rodrigues Pereira Monteiro. Guilherme enjoyed riding horses and watching soccer games and the news. Guilherme is survived by 31 of his children, Ivone, Salette, Delfa, Djoy, Nicolau, Carminda, Gridjemina, Suraya, Nela, Djiny, Tonita, Danilo, Bebe, Buiuca, Zita, Antoninho, Antonio, Cristiano, Gustin, Miguel, Deuzinha, Ady, Ely, Coia, Ja, Bia, Sunsan, Marcelina, Odete, Zandro and Nela; 151 grandchildren; 98 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Angelica and Manzinha; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was predeceased by his parents, the late Cristiano Rodrigues Jose Monteiro and the late Assencao Rodrigues Monteiro, as well as two of his children, Nelita and Aziverte. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 20, 2019. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
