Haidou (Taxos) Bloumbas Haidou (Taxos) Bloumbas , 83, of Brockton, died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the Braemoore Nursing Home in Brockton. She was the beloved wife of George Bloumbas. Born August 11, 1925 in Evangeligmos, Elassona, Larrisa, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Dimetrios Taxos and Maria (Paparras) Taxos. Mrs. Bloumbas came to Brockton in 1956 and was an active member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton. She was the loving wife of George Bloumbas of Brockton; loving mother of Ann Siamantouras of Brockton, Kostas Bloumbas and his wife Diane of Raynham, and James Bloumbas and his wife Debbie of Easton; loving grandmother of Evan, George, Jimmy, Kristin, Nick, and Haidee; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ioanna Fotiou, Soultana Papoulias, and Evangelos Taxos. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, October 30th at 10:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 11:00AM.
