Harriett E. Ferrone

Harriett E. Ferrone (Perrotta), age 81, of South Easton, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, in Easton MA.

Born and raised in Brockton, Harriett was the daughter of the late Fiorino and Doris (Grow) Perrotta. She graduated from Brockton High School with the class of 1963 and went on to receive her cosmetology license in 1968. She spent several fulfilling years working as a hairdresser before later becoming a bookkeeper in the family business and real estate industry, where she worked for many years until her retirement.

Harriett often spoke fondly of the summers she spent growing up at her family’s second home in Parkwood Beach in Wareham, surrounded by family and friends. She continued to cherish the Cape throughout her life and took great pride in her home in Seascape, North Falmouth. She loved welcoming family and friends into her home, sharing meals, and making everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

An avid needle pointer, Harriett won several awards for her beautiful creations. She was also an accomplished cook and loved to travel, creating memories wherever she went. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Harriett was kind, caring, and loving, and she had a natural gift for making everyone around her feel welcomed and cared for. She loved opening her arms and her home to others and sharing the many gifts she had with the people she loved most. Her warmth, generosity, and love of family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Harriett is survived by her son, Michael S. Ferrone, and his wife, Morgan Ferrone, of Foxborough; her daughter, Cathleen Ferrone, and her husband, Gregory Murphy, of South Easton; and her three grandchildren, Sophia Murphy, London Murphy, and Dominic Ferrone. She was the sister of the late Charles H. Perrotta and Lee Perrotta.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm, in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont Street, Brockton. Interment will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Harriett’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
