CARD of Crystal River, FL formerly of Brockton and Whitman April 3, 2002 Harrison F. “Bud” Card 83 years. Husband of Corinne N. (Hawes) Card and the late Ruth E. (Crowley) Card. Father of John J. Card and his wife Janet of Nashua, NH. Grandfather of Shawn, Scott, Sharon and Sheryl. Great grandfather of eight.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Whitman. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 PM.

OBITUARY

Mr. Card died Wednesday morning in the Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River, FL after a lengthy illness. He has been a resident of Florida for the past 25 years and previously was a resident of Whitman and Brockton.Mr. Card was born in Brockton son of the late John P. and Emma (Hildreth) Card and was a graduate of Brockton High School.During WW II he served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater.He retired from Bridgewater MCI after many years of service as an instructor.He had been a member of the VFW and American Legion in Whitman and American Legion Blanton-Thompson Post 1555 in Crystal RiverMr. Card was an avid golfer.In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildrenHe also leaves several nieces and nephewsHe was the brother of the late Virginia Kennedy, Philip G. Card, Leo G. Card and Edward Card.
