Online Obituaries Harry M. Mickey Corey, of Middleboro, MA, died at the age of 76 after a short illness. He died at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Marguerita (Connors) Corey. He was born to the late Harry and Priscilla (Stearns) Corey on September 22, 1937 in East Hartford, Connecticut. Harry attended schools in Abington and Brockton. Harry and his late wife Marguerita owned and operated a retirement home for Veterans in Brockton until their retirement 4 years ago. Harry is a member of the VFW in Middleboro. He is a former member of the Gourmet Club in Brockton. He was also part owner of the former Whitco Auto Sales Company in Middleboro. He was known by his friends and family as an avid gardener who raised vegetables only to share his bounty with his friends and loved ones. Harry was an honest and kind man who was always willing to help anyone who was in need. He is survived by his daughters, Tracy McCarthy of Buzzards Bay, Cynthia Smith of Brockton and Angel Corey of Middleboro; his son, Scott Corey of Middleboro; he is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; his siblings, Annette Holmes of Middleboro, Patricia Boni of Seneca, Soth Carolina, Gordon Corey of Fort Myers, Florida, Ron Corey of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Dean Corey of Marathon Key, Florida, Bruce Corey of Wolcott, Connecticut, Virginia Spaulding of Harrison, Maine and Judith Stinchfield of Middleboro. He was the father of the late Deborah Murphy of Middleboro and brother of the late Frances McCormak of Abington and Mary Corey of Cranston, Rhode Island. A funeral procession will form at Blue Hill Cemetery Office (across from Cemetery) 700 West St., Braintree on Friday, January 31st at 9:30AM followed by a graveside service in Blue Hill Cemetery at 10:00AM.
