Helen M. Gaudette Helen M. Gaudette , 76, of Bridgewater, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a period of failing health. Born December 1, 1935 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Alexander E. Gaudette and Helen F. (Tierney) Gaudette. Raised in Brockton, she graduated from Brockton High School in 1953. Helen retired from Bell Atlantic Telephone Company after working there 47 years. She was proud to be the first female Manager for the company. She enjoyed traveling, white water rafting, reading and going to the Raynham-Taunton Dog Track. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Sargent and her husband Jim; her nieces, Michele Boudreau and Patricia Jamoulis and her husband Jeremy; her great nephews, Zackary and Camden Duquette; her great niece, Izabella Jamoulis; her aunt, Kathleen Clancy; her longtime companion, John Kelly. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt1230 Brockton on Tuesday at 9:30AM thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward's Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:30AM.
