Helen A. (Cruise) Kitchen Helen Agnes (Cruise) Kitchen, 52, of Brockton died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. Born October 24, 1955 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late William H. Cruise and Mary A. (Barrett) Cruise. A lifelong Brockton resident, Helen was a graduate of Brockton High School in 1973. Helen worked for Verizon for 30 years and retired as a Manager. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and animals. She was a communicant of Christ The King Parish in Brockton. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine "Katie" Byers and her husband Christopher of Lakeville; her grandchildren, Aidan, Ava, and Jameson Byers; her sisters and brother, Mary T. Vallancourt of Brockton, Margaret A. Palm of Brockton, Michael Cruise and his wife Jean of Lakeville, and Frances M. Cruise of Brockton; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Catherine Cruise.
