Helen M. (Coughlan) Minerva
, 91, of Pocasset and formerly of Brockton, passed away Friday evening, September 30, 2011 at the Royal Cape Nursing Home in Bourne. She was the wife of the late Sabino C. "Sal" Minerva.
Born March 4, 1920 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late William J. Coughlan and Muriel (Greenough) Coughlan.
Mrs. Minerva has been a resident of Pocasset for over 42 years and formerly lived in Brockton.
She is survived by her children, Donna Poliseno, Carol Minerva and Nicholas Minerva; her grandchildren, Dina Zampine and her husband Peter, Sr. and Michael Poliseno; her great grandchildren, Peter Zampine, Jr., Katelyn Zampine and Michael Zampine; her brother, Ronald Coughlan and his wife Kathleen of Middleboro; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Donald Coughlan, Verna Bartlett and William Coughlin.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday at 8:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home on Tuesday 5:00-8:00PM.
