Funeral service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 11 am. Burial at a later date in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Bridgewater. Visiting hours Wednesday 7-9 pm.

Obituary

Helen J. (Makepeace) Moniz 96 years died Sunday evening. She was born in Brockton the daughter of the late George A. and Mary E. (Campbell) Makepeace. Helen had lived most of her life in East Bridgewater and Brockton and had been a resident of Caffrey Towers for over 20 years.

She was a supervisor for many years at Spark Heel and Brockton Sole & Plastics.

She enjoyed traveling and in her younger years she went to Spain, Italy and Hawaii. Helen enjoyed gardening, dancing, crocheting and bingo.

She is survived by a daughter and a son Mildred M. Martin of Grapevine, Texas; Joseph J. Moniz of Hubert, NC, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and was the mother of the late the late Robert M. Moniz..
