Online Obituaries Helen A. (Pesanelli) Rogers, 93, of Brockton, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Jerome F. Rogers. Born September 28, 1919 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni Pesanelli and Assunta (Fucci) Pesanelli. Helen was a lifelong resident of Brockton and a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Many people know Helen from her work at Producer's Dairy Restaurant for 25 years and then as a Nurse's Aide for the Brockton Hospital and the Sisters of the Sacred Heart Convent in Fall River. After her "retirement," she worked for many more years at the Huntington School. Helen will always be remembered as a loving and tireless caregiver who was devoted to her daughter, Susan, and as a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, whose home was the gathering place for the holidays. She was a cheerful and loving presence wherever she went. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Helen is survived by her daughters, Susan Rogers of Brockton and Janice M. Lyman and her husband Kenneth of Yarmouth Port; her grandchildren, Thomas Lyman and Christine Caputo and her husband, Adam; her great-grandchildren, Elena and Alex Caputo; her nieces and nephews, Diana Ciociola, June Smith, David Pesanelli, John Pesanelli, Maureen Rogers, Deborah Collins, Christine Curtis, Kevin Rogers and Stephen Rogers and many grand nieces and nephews, all so cherished. She was the sister of the late Michael Pesanelli, Meric Pesanelli and Mary Grogan. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, September 30th at 9:30AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:30AM.
