Obituary

Helene A. Kamon, 73, of Brockton, MA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 6, 2021. She was survived by her beloved son, Robert Kamon of Randolph, and her loving daughter, Amy LaGarde, and her husband, Kevin, of Middleboro. She is also survived by her brother, Andrew Pappastergion, and his wife, Helen, of Lowell; her brother, James Pappastergion, and his wife, Dayle, of Lowell; her uncle, Dale Holzworth and her cousin, Darlene Holzworth-Greco of Brookline; and her cousin, Diana Valentine of Methuen, as well as many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Helene was born and raised in Brookline, and was the daughter of Andrew and Louise Pappastergion, late of Lowell. Helene was a kind and peaceful soul, who will be sorely missed by her friends and family. To honor Helene’s love of animals, the family asks that donations be made in Helene’s memory to the MA Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals c/o MSPCA-Angell, Attn: Donations, 350 S. Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
