Obituary

Helene K. (Phillips) Patricelli age 83 of Brockton, died Wednesday January 4, 2012 at Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was the loving wife of the late Anthony for 44 years. Helene was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late A. Sidney and Evelyn (Donaghue) Phillips and remained a lifelong resident of the city. A 1946 graduate of Brockton High School, Helene also attended Faye School of Business in Boston.

For many years, Helene was a bookkeeper at Jones & Vining, Inc. in Brockton and previously worked at White Star Laundry also in Brockton. She was an avid reader and loved to solve crossword puzzles and keep up with current events. Helene will be remembered as a quiet but witty woman who was devoted to her family.

Helene was the devoted mother of Lee Osborne and her husband Kenneth of Whitman; Paula Lloyd and her husband Mike of E. Bridgewater; Nancy Patricelli of Irvine, CA; Jaye Dupuy and her husband Lance of Brockton and the late Anthony S. Patricelli. She leaves nine grandchildren Tina Patricelli, Brian and David Osborne, Michael Lloyd, Deanna Holmes, Sam and Heather Kane, Allyson and Jade Dillingham and ten great grandchildren. She was the sister of Patrice Berglund of Brockton, Claire Verran of California and the late Ruth Fortin and Carol Hill. She leaves a daughter-in-law Nancy Patricelli of Brockton and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Sunday 2-5 pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Monday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church at 10:30 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
