Howard B. Newton of Berkley passed away at the Good Samaritan Medical Center on February 1, 2025. He was 84. He was the son of the late Howard F. and Florence (Bryant) Newton. Howard was predeceased by his wife Judith (Flagg) Newton. He is survived by his brother Conrad B. Newton and his wife Anne F. (Weir) Newton of Alton Bay, New Hampshire. A 1958 graduate of Brockton High School, Howard was employed by the City of Brockton Engineering Department for over 60 years, and was still working until his most recent illness. His hobbies included antique cars and boats, reading, and spending time in New Hampshire. He enjoyed his weekends in New Hampshire using his wooden boats, winning awards at the many different shows he entered them in. Funeral Arrangements are private at the convenience of the family.
