Online Obituaries Ida Louise (Parrett) Walter, 92, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 in Raynham under the care of her family and hospice after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Merle Walter. Born May 12, 1925 in Wadesboro, North Carolina she was a daughter of the late Mary (Little) Parrett. Raised in North Carolina, Ida later moved to Brooklyn, New York. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Brockton for many years. She loved collecting hats. Most of all Ida enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, James M. Parrett and his wife Phyllis, Ray A. Parrett, Mary L. Faines and her husband Gary; her daughter-in-law Ardenia Parrett; her grandchildren, Lynne, Reggie, Terry, Raymond, Jackie, Eugenia and Keith. She is also survived by her 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Eugene Parrett and Johnny Parrett and mother-in-law of the late Edna Parrett. Funeral Information Calling hours will be held in the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 441 Main St., Brockton on Saturday September 23rd from 9:00AM-10:00AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Street Cemetery, Raynham.
