Idalina DeBarros Semedo, 103, of Brockton, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. She was the wife of the late Eugenio De Barros Semedo. Born in Fogo, Cape Verde on September 18, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Jose De Barros and Maria Das Dores De Pina. Idalina enjoyed sewing, going to church, playing cards and most of all, being with family and friends. She is survived by her children Amarilia Semedo Fragoso and Jose Antonio De Barros; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Idalina is predeceased by four of her children. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, February 9th from 4:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral Service will be held in the Nova Alianca Church of Nazarene, 38 Mystic St., Brockton on Thursday at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
