Idilia J. Lopes, 81, of Bridgewater passed away September 8, 2019. Idilia was a native of Brava, Cape Verde and the daughter of late Carolina Coelho and late Joaquim dos Santos. Idilia was the wife of late Artur J. Lopes and mother of her late son Bartolomeu. Idilia was also the sister of her late brothers Antonio Coelho, Joaquim dos Santos, and Artur dos Santos. Idilia is survived by her sister Irene Lopes of Brockton, daughter Laura Lopes and son-in-law Napoleon Gonsalves of N. Attleboro, son Camilo Lopes of Bridgewater and She was the beloved grandmother of Jason, Sydney, Cai-Lee, Nathan, Emilia, and CJ. Idilia is loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who will miss her dearly and are heartbroken with her passing. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton on Friday, September 13th at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Thursday, September 12th from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
