Ilda Da Veiga, 79, of Brockton, passed away Monday, December 26, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. Born Febraury 6, 1942 in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Joaquim Rodrigues and Rita (Pina) Viega. Devoted mother of Maria de Veiga Monteiro (Zinha) Lucia Lina Goncalves Gomes (Lulucha), Julia Goncalves Blanchette (Julia) Joao Augusto Goncalves (Gui), and Viriato Goncalves (Vivi). Also survived by 12 brothers, 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held in the Nova Alianca Church of Nazarene, 38 Mystic St., Brockton on Thursday, December 29th at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
