Iranie Bolier, 90, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Boston Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Gerard Volmar. Born August 27, 1928 in Jacmel, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Ducose and Eliesor (Depeste) Bolier. Iranie enjoyed singing, reading the Bible, and listening to Haitian Radio. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and fellow church members. Iranie will be lovingly remembered by her children Mirlande Volmar Claude, Jean Volmar and his wife Elismene Volmar, Hary Volmar and his wife Rose Volmar, Saul Volmar and his wife Sophonie Volmar. Iranie will also be forever remembered by her 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Eliane Dugue, sister-in-law Gladys Volmar, and many nieces and nephews. Iranie was predeceased by her son Rodrige Volmar and sister Martha Bolier. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at 9:00AM in the First Brockton Haitian Church, 940 Main St., Brockton, MA 02301. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
