Estes, of Bridgewater formerly of Whitman, December 4, 2002, Irene E. (Noone) (Barry) Estes. Wife of the late William J. Barry and William Estes. Mother of Betty Griffin, William M. Barry, Brenda Shay, Richard T. Barry, Carol Aziz, Susan I. Burden and Michael K. Barry.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 10am. Funeral Mass in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at 11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting Hours Sunday 3-7 pm.

Obituary Information

Mrs. Estes died unexpectedly Wednesday evening at the Brockton Hospital. Born in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Thomas F. and Mary E. (Allen) Noone. She was raised in Brockton and attended Brockton Schools. She had been a resident of Whitman for 30 years, Pembroke for 21 years and Bridgewater for the past 5 years. She had been employed for several years by SIGMA Instruments in Braintree before retiring in 1981. She enjoyed bowling and was in a bowling league at Timber Lanes Bowling, Abington and she also loved to travel around the country to visit her children. While living in Whitman, she had been a communicant of Holy Ghost Church.

She is survived by four daughters, Betty Griffin of Sunland, CA; Brenda Shay of Irving, TX; Carol Aziz of Bridgewater and Susan I. Burden of Carver. Three sons, William M. Barry of S. Easton; Richard T. Barry of Edgewood, MD; and Michael K. Barry of W. Yarmouth, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews

She was the wife of the late William J. Barry and William Estes and sister of the late T. Frank, Robert L., John W. Noone and Edna Toomey
