Irene E. (Sergio) DeLalla, of Abington,  passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024.  She was the wife of the late Richard E. DeLalla.

Born January 16, 1937 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Luigi Sergio and Pasqualina (Lembo) Sergio.  Raised in Brockton she graduated from Brockton High School Class of1955 and then Brockton Academy of Beauty Culture 1961.

Irene enjoyed hosting, cooking and cleaning for friends, family and guests. Shopping weekly at Home Goods, Christmas Tree Shop, Kohl's and Macy's for gifts for her children and grandchildren. Making and creating holiday decorations especially her famous Christmas bows. Loved to see her grandchildren and others dance. Attended every competition and recital. Enjoyed being at her Cape Cod residence taking in beautiful views of the water. Her most loved and cherished time was spent with family.

She is survived by her daughters; Beth Foley and her husband George Foley and Kimberly Greenlaw and her husband Arthur Greenlaw; and her four grandchildren, Meghan Foley, Richie Greenlaw, Ryan Foley and Chandler Greenlaw.

Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 Main Street., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Tuesday, December 3rd from 8:30AM-10:30AM thence to St. Ann's Church, 103 North Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 11:00AM.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
