Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Edward Church at 9am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5 p.m.

Mrs. DeRosa died Wednesday evening at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a lengthy illness. Born in Boston and raised in Roslindale and Jamaica Plain. Daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Doherty) Giles.

Resident of Brockton for the past 25 years. Graduate of Jamaica Plain High School. Before her retirement she worked for many years in the Produce Department of So. Brockton Shaws. She enjoyed bowling. Communicant of St. Edward Church. Survived by her husband Louis DeRosa, Jr. of 50 years Three sons Joseph, Michael and Kenneth all of Brockton 3 grandsons, Joseph, Jr., James and John all of Brockton 1 sister, Alice Murray Survived by 1 niece and several nephewsSister of the late Edward Giles
