Obituary

Irene V. (Seymour) Packard, 90 years, of Raynham formerly of Brockton died October 2, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Robert B. Packard, Sr. and daughter of the late Francis and Delia (Stuart) Seymour. Irene enjoyed camping, sewing, bingo, shuffle board and reading and had been a member of the Holiday Rambler Club. For many years she wintered in Port Richie, FL and had been a resident of York, ME for 17 years before moving to Raynham.

She was the loving mother of Carleton R. Packard and his wife Valgranina of Taunton, Denise E. McLean and her husband Dennis of West Bridgewater, Janice I. Boucher of Taunton and the late Robert B. Packard, Jr.; grandmother of nine, great grandmother of thirteen and great great grandmother of four, sister of Theresa Teixeira of W. Bridgewater and the late Edna Mousette, Lawrence and Vincent Seymour.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Parish at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 5-8pm.
