**To view the live stream of Iris's services beginning at 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 22nd, please use the following link: Iris's Service Iris Nereida Cataquet-Tercero, 69, of Brockton passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was the wife of Carlos Tercero for 30 years. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on August 24, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Saturnino Cataquet and Fita Emma Maysonet. Iris received an associates degree from Massasoit Community College. Iris and Carlos were married on January 26, 1991. Iris enjoyed dogs, dancing, singing, pop culture, cooking, keeping up with technology, and playing candy crush and slot machines. In addition to her husband, Carlos, Iris is survived by her children Jose "Fillo" Palhares and Linda "Susan" Milne; her grandchildren Carlos "Carlito" Guzman, Chantele Jerome, Skye Milne, Rayne Milne and Bryson Palhares; her great-grandchildren Zion Jerome and Oliver Jerome; and by two brothers and three sisters. She is also survived by her youngest "daughter", her dog Precious Tercero. Following cremation, a memorial gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton on Thursday, July 22nd from 4:00-7:00 PM with a service to follow at 7:00 PM.
