Online Obituaries Irma (Diaz) Greer, 61, of Brockton, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of Thomas H. Greer. Irma was born November 14, 1952, to the late Cerilla Rentas of Ponce, Puerto Rico. As a young child, Irma moved with her mother and 6 other siblings to Massachusetts. Throughout her life, Irma found happiness in both personally and professionally. Irma was a hard worker and had a faithful soul. For many years she was a successful realtor and enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas H. Greer of whom she loved very dearly, and was always grateful for his love, comfort and ever-lasting support; her children of which she loved immensely, Michael A. Rodriquez of whom she was always proud of and endeared, and Erica Rodriquez of whom she often sought for comfort and was faithfully inspired by; her grandchildren, Deziree Brady-Rodriquez, Cameron Amaral, Devon Amaral, and Isaac Velazquez; along with her first-born great-grandchild Patiance Nicole Jacobs. She is also survived by her siblings, Joanne Perez, Betty Perez, Enrique Diaz, and Eladio Perez. She was the sister of the late Celita Diaz, Gloria Diaz who passed in March of 2000. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Funeral Information Following cremation, a Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Sunday, November 9th from 1:00-2:00PM followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00PM.
