Obituary

Irving J. "Jack" Bennett Irving Joseph "Jack" Bennett, age 88, formerly of Framingham and Easton passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Southeast Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Easton. Born June 18, 1923 in St Paul, Minnesota, he was the son of the late Elena (Campbell)Bennett and Joseph Bennett. His childhood was spent in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and he graduated from Somerville High School in 1942. He served in the US Army during WW II and was stationed in the Aleutian Islands. He had a great interest in architecture, particularly the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. In the early 50's he designed and built a home in Easton for his family, where they lived for many years. Jack was very fond of Gregg Lake in New Hampshire and the Boston Red Sox. He also loved music and art. He is survived by four daughters, Kim Zeuli and her husband Alec of California, Laurie Ellis and her husband Peter of Florida, Karen Mark and her husband Dan of Easton and Kris La Brake and her husband Matthew of New Hampshire; his eight grandchildren, Alessandra(Zeuli)Venski and her husband Scott, Tony Zeuli, Andrea Mark, Gregory Mark, Jared D'Amico, Joseph Tracy, Katherine LaBrake and Jillian LaBrake; his two great-grandchildren, Riley and Logan Venski; his former wife, Carol Bennett: his dear friend, Jody Carmel; his niece, Linda Gibson; his nephew, John Gibson, he is also survived by many cousins and friends. He was the brother of the late Eleanor Gibson of NH. Funeral Information Following Cremation a Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on a day and time to be announced in the summer.
