Isabelle M. (Korkmas) Bethoney, 83, of Brockton, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 at her home in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Ernest M. Bethoney.
Born August 17, 1928 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Toufih Korkmas and Miriam (Kurey) Korkmas-Moses.
Isabelle worked for many years as a Hostess for Christo's Restaurant and as a Photographer's Assistant for McGrath's Studios.
Moving from Jamaica Plain to Brockton in 1963 she has been a Communicant and Choir Member of St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and she volunteered at My Brother's Keeper. She was a member of the Mother of Twins Club.
She is survived by her 11 children, Mark Bethoney and his wife Karen, Bob Bethoney and his wife Terry, Paul Bethoney and his wife Paula, Gregory Bethoney and his wife Mary, Marina Bethoney and her husband David, Brenda O'Brien and her husband Bob, Tom Bethoney and his wife Colleen, Michael Bethoney and his wife Donatta, Steven Bethoney and his wife Donna, Gerard "Gerry" Bethoney and his wife Paula and Ernie Bethoney and his wife Nicole; her sister, Margo Asack; her aunt, Ruthie Von Kelch; she is also survived by her 30 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, March 22nd at 9:00AM thence to St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 North Main St., Brockton where the Service of the Devine Mysteries will be celebrated at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Wednesday 2:00-8:00PM with Incense Service at 4:30PM.
