Islande Donnat, 51, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024. She was the wife of Phernel J. Manigat.

Born on December 1, 1972 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the daughter of Ismane Donnat and the late Clara Val.

Islande was a nurse practitioner.

A parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Randolph, Islande was a member of the choir and in many prayer groups. She loved being a mother, a wife, and a daughter and being first, a registered nurse, and then becoming a nurse practitioner. She loved helping her family, friends and coworkers.

In addition to her husband, Phernel, Islande is survived by her children Noanddi Manigat and Ameerah Manigat; her stepchildren Phernegize Manigat and Nick Manigat; her father Ismane Donnat; her siblings Gary Donnat and spouse Rose Berline Thomas Donnat, Olritch Donnat, Yolette Louis, Sorel Louis and spouse Margarette Louis, Leandre Louis, Gino Nerette, Guerlande Nerette and Bellanda Nerette; her siblings in law Henry A Manigat and spouse Ana Manigat, Darly Manigat, Dominique Manigat Estimphile and spouse Yves Estimphile, Friedrick Manigat and spouse Carine Daniel-Manigat, Richard Daniel and spouse Lourdewine Daniel, Paule Daniel, JB Manigat François and spouse Mireille Limprevil; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends and coworkers. She is predeceased by her mother, Clara Val; her siblings Felix Loubens Donnat, Jeanette Louis, Liliane Louis, sister in law Laurence Roussel; and her parents-in-law Nathan Manigat and Yolande Adrien.

Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, October 11th from 4:00PM-8:00PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul in St. Mary's Church, 211 North Main St., Randolph at 10:00AM. Interment will be held in Haiti.
