Jacqueline Marie (Paszynska) Carlson of Brockton passed away peacefully on June 19, 2021 at the age of 96. "Jackie" as her friends called her was the beloved wife of the late Clarence Joseph Carlson.
Born in Boston on December 5, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Esmeralda (Paszynska) McInnis. She was the sister of the late Barbara M. McInnis.
She met the love of her life and together they shared six children. The devoted Mother of Cheryl A. Carlson, Karl H. Carlson and his wife Dianne, Kirra M. (Carlson) Kotsiopoulos and her husband Charles, Michael J. Carlson and his wife Lynne, as well as the late Nelson J. Carlson and the late Eric A. Carlson.
Jackie was proud to be called grandma and was a loving Grandmother to Peter D. Lounge Jr. Jacqueline Carlson Fitzgerald-Boyd, Laura Lopes, Denise Goldsberry, Christinamarie Desmarias, Christopher J. Carlson, Anastasia Kotsiopoulos-Milot, George Kotsiopoulos, Jamie Carlson, and Lindsey Carlson.
Jackie was blessed with ten great-grandchildren. Katie, Kylie, Esmeralda, Kendra, Bradford, Emily, Trevor, Joseph, Sophia, and Gryphon. She was Little Gram to them.
Jackie was doubly blessed to be able to brag that she was a Great Great grandmother to Landon, Maddie, Jaxstyn and Jurnee.
She was raised in West Bridgewater, graduated from Howard High Class of 1942. She went on to raise her family and eventually had a very rewarding career as an Activity Director in two local nursing facilities. In her well-earned retirement, she carried on with what she loved most – helping people. She enjoyed running coffee socials, bingo, and holiday parties in the building she lived.
The world was blessed to have Jackie in it for 96 years and all who were lucky enough to have had their lives touched by her were equally blessed.
Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home 441 South Maine St (Rte.28) West Bridgewater on Saturday, June 26th from 9:00AM – 12 Noon, followed by a graveside service at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St, Brockton MA.
