Obituary

James M. Babb, age 55, of Brockton, died August 18, 2016. Born in Brockton, James was the son of George C. Babb of Cohasset, and the late Lorraine I. (Wedge) Babb. He was raised in Brockton and Littleton, NH, and was a graduate of Littleton High School. He was a member of the Army National Guard and Army Reserves. James enjoyed fishing, tinkering with bikes and repairing cars. Dedicated to his son, he would spend hours building go-carts and working on projects with him.

James is the loving father of James J. Babb of Brockton, brother of George E. Babb of East Bridgewater, Jeanne M. Andrews of Foxborough, Joan Furtado of Bridgewater, Carol Babb of Brockton, Larry Babb of Taunton, Debbie Hurwitz of Brockton, and the late John Babb. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. James was the longtime companion of the late Tina Marie Voci.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday, August 29, 2016 from 4-6pm, followed by a funeral service at 6pm.
