James P. Davenport, 47, of Easton and formerly of Brockton, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014. He was the husband of Nancy C. (Derrane) Davenport.
Born April 9, 1967 in Brockton, he was the son of the late James F. Davenport and Janet M. (Williams)(Davenport) Stone and her husband Lance R. Stone. Raised in Brockton, he graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational High School and Cape Cod Community College where he graduated from Paramedic School. He served in the United States Navy.
Jimmy was a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Sharon Fire Department for the last 12 years. He was very active in the State and Local Unions being a member of the Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts and the International Association of Firefighters Local #1880.
He enjoyed fishing and football.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Sean P. Davenport, Katherine E. Davenport, Mary M. Davenport and Margaret A. Davenport; his brother, Lance A. Stone; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, July 14th at 8:30AM thence to Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main St., North Easton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home Sunday 2:00-6:00PM.
