Obituary

James G. Hebshie, Jr. age 69 of Brockton, died February 1, 2015 at South Shore Hospital following a period of failing health. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of the late James G. and Clara A. (Gary) Hebshie. Jim was a 1965 graduate of Brockton High School and was a self-employed HVAC technician. For many years he worked in the South Shore area and for ten years owned and operated Able One Refrigeration and Air Conditioning in Palm Springs, CA. He was devoted to his family, doted on his sisters and loved animals.
Jim is survived by his daughter Jean McCauley and her husband Brian of Middletown, MD; two grandchildren Brenna and Casey McCauley; three sisters Judith Foley and her husband Walter of Duxbury, Cheryll Gagnon and her husband Raymond of Easton, Lynelle St. Jacques and her husband Raymond of Wareham and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday 4:30-7:30pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Saturday at 10am followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Cross Church, South Easton at 11am. Burial will be at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery.
