James Kalogeras James Kalogeras , 73, of Halifax and formerly of Brockton, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was the husband of Linda Lee (Moren) Kalogeras. Born on May 27, 1936 in Lesvos, Greece, he was the son of the late Spyros and Irene Kalogeras. Mr. Kalogeras came from Greece in 1955, he then owned several pizza restaurants after retiring he worked at Christo's Restaurant in Brockton. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He is survived by his wife, Linda lee (Moren) Kalogeras; his children, Melissa Leandres of Taunton, Irene Varandas of Hamden, Nicholas Kalogeras of Belmont and Andrea Kalogeras of Palmer; his grandchildren, Melina Leandres, Ashton Leandres, Kimberly Varandas and Katherine Varandas; his sister, Despoula Tzantos of Danvers; his brother, George Kalogeras of Greece.
