James Gerard Linehan James Gerard Linehan , Sr., 43, of Bridgewater, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after battling a lengthy illness. He was the former husband of Linda (Kent) Walsh. Born March 11, 1964 in Boston, he was the son of Richard J. Linehan, Sr and Beatrice (McDonnell) Linehan both of Abington. Raised in Weymouth and Whitman he was a graduate of Whitman High School. James worked for TCI Marketing where he was a fundraiser for several local Police and Fire Departments. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed keeping his son active in baseball. He is "Reunited". He is survived by his son, James G. Linehan, Jr., of Bridgewater; his parents, Richard J. Linehan, Sr. and Beatrice (McDonnell) Linehan both of Abington; his brothers and sister, Richard J. Linehan, Jr., of Brockton, Brenda L. Leadbetter of Hanson, and Gary D. Linehan of Sandwich; his special aunt, Irene Davis; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was the brother of the late Sandra L. Linehan. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, February 9th 10:00AM-12:00PM followed by a funeral prayer service in the funeral home at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
