James Thomas "Bubba" McComb, Sr. James Thomas "Bubba" McComb, Sr. , 49, of Brockton, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 13, 2010. He was the husband of Susan A. (Mignault) McComb for 32 years. Born October 15, 1960 in Brockton, he was the son of the late James E. McComb and Daisy L. (Kirk) McComb. He was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1978. He served in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1984. "Bubba" worked as a forklift operator. He enjoyed motorcycles and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his two sons James T. McComb, Jr. and his wife Melanie and Matthew C. McComb; his beautiful grand-daughter, Nellie "Popcorn" all of Brockton; his siblings, Vickie McComb Brown and her husband Kenneth, Pamela Bester, Stephanie Bester Afonso and her husband Edwindo and Kathleen Paige and her husband Michael all of Brockton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends who loved him. He was the grandson of the late Emteaser and Minnie Kirk. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday from 11:00 to 12:00PM followed by a prayer service at 12:00PM. Private cremation will follow.
