Charles F. Reed James F. Reed, of Brockton, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Sun O. (Chong) Reed. Born May 23, 1942 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Bernice (Reed) Offley. Raised in Brockton, he graduated from Brockton High School and Massasoit Community College. He served in the United States Army and Air Force for over 7 years. Mr. Reed was an Electrical Engineer and had worked for numerous different electrical companies. He enjoyed movies, cooking, building projects and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Sun O (Chong) Reed; his children, Jean K. Reed, James A. Reed, Jennifer M. Reed and Daniel A. Reed; his grandchildren, Michael H. Reed and Trinity S. Reed; his brother, David Reed; his sister, Joyce Grimes; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Allen Reed and Donna Offley. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, July 23rd at 11:00AM.
