James A. Ross, 81, of West Bridgewater, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at his home under the care of his family and hospice. He was the beloved husband of Louise McDonough. James is the loving father of Michael Ross and his wife Danielle, Robert Ross, Steven Ross and his wife Keri, and Linda Ross; his stepchildren Beth Nelson and Leo McDonough; cherished grandfather of Jason Ross, Thomas Ross, Kaitlin Ross, Gavin Ross, Emily Ross, Lena and Alana McDonough; his late brother Kenneth Ross and late wife Carole; brother Robert Ross and his wife Janice; and his sister Marie LaCerda; and many nieces and nephews. Born in Brockton on January 16, 1941, he was the son of the late Gordon and Helen (Grady) Ross. A lifelong resident of West Bridgewater, he was the owner of the JA Ross Corp. for over 60 years and millions of miles. He was also a call firefighter for over 30 years. He was never happier than when he was with his family. He also enjoyed camping during the summer with his wife and all of their grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Tuesday at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
