West of Brockton February 6, 2002, James F. West, III 42 years. Son of James F. West, Jr. of Brockton and the late Dorothy E. (Delaney) West. Brother of Paula J. Kiernan and her husband Richard of Bellingham, Betsy West of Middleboro, Carol M. Lescarbeau of Marion and Daniel E. West and his wife Kathy of Danvers. Jim also leaves his many friends.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am.. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Mr. West died Wednesday morning at the Greenery at Middleboro after a lengthy illness. He was born in Boston and raised in Brockton, son of James F. West, Jr. of Brockton and the late Dorothy E. (Delaney) West. He was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1977 and also a graduate of Massasoit Community College. Before his illness he was the manager of Communication Electronics Company in Braintree, previously he worked at IBM in Burlington and also FedEx in Rhode Island.

He enjoyed watching all sports, music, computers and socializing with friends. In addition to his father he is survived by 3 sisters, Paula J. Kiernan, Betsy West and Carol M. Lescarbeau and 1 brother Daniel E. West. Many nieces and nephews Several aunts, uncles and cousins
