Obituary

Jane Moynihan, age 82, lifelong of Brockton, died on September 12, 2024 at Bay Pointe Rehabilitation following a period of failing health. She was the devoted daughter of the late John H. and Anna E. (Doherty) Moynihan and sister of the late John Moynihan.

Jane attended St. Patrick School, Brockton High School and graduated from Katherine Gibbs School. She worked for many years as a Nursing Home Coordinator and later as an Administrative Aide for Rep. Geraldine Creedon. Jane retired from the State House in 2013.

Jane was enormously proud of her Irish heritage and took many trips to Ireland to research her family history. She was a longtime communicant of St. Edith Stein Church in Brockton.

Jane will be remembered for her kind heart, her quick wit, her feistiness and her love of Irish music.
