It is with a heavy heart that the family of Janet E. Campbell announces her peaceful passing at the Joanne's Hospice House of Bonita Springs FL. She leaves behind her dear and loving husband John J. Campbell Jr. Janet is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Caroline Faulstich, brothers William and Leonard, and will be dearly missed by her sister Caroline Delosh.
Janet was born in Boston on November 14, 1933, graduated Roslindale High School and married her sweetheart John J. Campbell Jr. on May 24, 1958. They moved to Abington in 1968 where they raised their five children. Janet was a blissful summer resident of Saquish Beach in Plymouth, MA, and an enthusiastic snowbird in Naples, FL, before becoming a permanent resident with John in 2005.
Janet was a loving mother, an accomplished artist, and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life with family and friends. She was a gracious hostess to her guests and was well regarded for her wit and grace. Janet was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, John J. Campbell, III. and his wife Karen of Cumberland, Maine, David T. Campbell of Stoughton, Massachusetts, Fr. Robert E. Campbell of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Daniel L. Campbell and his wife Tara of Duxbury, Massachusetts and Caroline M. Campbell of Estero, Florida. She was the proud Grandmother of Michaela, Liam, and Declan Campbell of Cumberland, Maine, Benjamin and Nathaniel Brisky of Estero, Florida, and Curran and Tanner Campbell of Duxbury, Massachusetts.
Funeral Information
Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, January 26th at 9:00AM thence to St. Patrick Church, 335 Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. A Celebration of Janet's life will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00-7:00PM.
