Obituary

Janet E. (McKeon) Forrester, age 81, of Brockton, died August 4, 2014 at Braemoor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Janet was the wife of the late Donald M. Forrester. Born and raised in Natick, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Brennan) McKeon, she had been a resident of Brockton since 1965. Janet was a graduate of Natick High School, class of 1950 and attended Framingham State College. For over 20 years she had been employed as a Teller for Bank of Boston in Weymouth. In addition to time spent with her family, she enjoyed bowling and tennis.
Janet is survived by two sons Mark D. and Scott A. Forrester both of Brockton; a daughter Susan M. Forrester of Whitman; a sister Priscilla Brown of Florida and her cat Peanut. She was the sister of the late Robert and Richard McKeon.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday 4-7pm. Donations in Janet’s name may be made to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts, 1300 W. Elm St. Ext., Brockton, MA 02301.
