Janet I. Libby-Mattson Janet I. Libby-Mattson , 63, of Brockton, died unexpectedly, Sunday, March 7, 2010 at her home in Brockton. She was the former wife of Wendell Libby. Born July 21, 1946 in Brockton, she was the daughter of Lorraine (Enos) Mattson and the late Everett L. Mattson, Sr. Janet was a great mother and grandmother, she had a big heart, and always tried to help others as best as she could. She was a resident at Rainbow Terrace where she hosted holiday dinners every year for the tenants. Every Friday she made coffee and snacks for the Brockton Hospital Nurses and the tenants as their blood pressure was tested. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to Foxwood's and Atlanta City. She is survived by her children, Brian K. Libby, Mark Libby, Sharmarie Libby, Christine Libby and Sherri Libby; her brothers, Everett L. Mattson, Jr., Richard A. Mattson, Glenn A. Mattson, Jeffrey A. Mattson, Sr. and Scott A. Mattson, Sr; her uncle, Alan Enos; her longtime partner, Domingo Gomes; she is also survived by several grandchldren, nieces and nephews.
