, 60, of Taunton, formerly of Brockton and Texas died peacefully Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston. She was the loving wife of Joseph Capodilupo.
Born November 5, 1948 in Cambridge, she was the daughter of Catherine (Smith) Breton and the late Frank Breton. Janice worked as a former English Teacher. She was also a Girl Scout leader in the city of Brockton. Janice volunteered numerous hours for St. Edward church, currently St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, Brockton for the school and the church. She was also a volunteer librarian at St. Edward School. She worked tirelessly to help raise money for school repairs and other improvements. She would also raise money for the Skating Club of Rockland and would not hesitate to volunteer her services where needed.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Capodilupo of Taunton; her daughter Jennifer Capodilupo of Quincy; her mother Catherine (Smith) Breton of Waco, Texas; her brother Michael and his wife Ruth Ann Breton of Mart, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her "Grand Dog" Reeses. She was the sister of the late Francis Breton.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) Brockton on Tuesday at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Monday 4-8PM
