Jarred M. Lopes Jarred Michael Lopes, 10, of Brockton, died Friday, June 6, 2008 at the Children's Hospital in Boston after a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 6, 1997 in Boston, he was the beloved son of Alberto Lopes, Jr. and Cecilia (Barbosa) Lopes both of Brockton. Jarred was a 4th grade student at the Plouffe Elementary School in Brockton where he enjoyed assisting the Principal in daily school announcements. He especially enjoyed art. He is survived by his parents, Alberto Lopes, Jr. and Cecilia (Barbosa) Lopes; his brothers, Jacob Lopes and Jaylen Lopes; his grandparents, Alberto Lopes, Sr., Eugenia Lopes, and Matilde Barbosa; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
